The Orthopedic Foundation Research Conference 2023
This year’s conference will be held at the Mt. Carmel New Albany Learning Center on the Mt. Carmel New Albany Surgical Hospital Campus. This one-day seminar will include lectures in areas of orthopedics and neurology including lower and upper extremity, and migraine. CME will be offered for physicians, mid-level providers, physical therapists, and athletic trainers.

Proceeds from the event support the work of The Orthopedic Foundation. This year’s theme is “Ohioans Helping Ohioans with Crippling Arthritis”

The Orthopedic Foundation Research Day
The Foundation will host a continuing medical education event on Saturday, July 20th. Area healthcare providers will be invited to the 5 hour CME “Research Day” at the Mt. Carmel Center of Education auditorium in New Albany, Ohio, in which Foundation research will be showcased. Cost to participants will be $30. More information to come on registering for this event.

2019 Ohio Honor Ride
The Honor Ride is a non-competitive cycling event where active service members, injured veterans, first responders and the general public all get to ride together. Rides vary from 14-67 miles and are designed for all skill levels. Healing heroes ride for free (injured veterans and first responders)
The Honor Ride raises crucial, life-changing funds in support of local Project Hero's local programs, which have proven results helping wounded, ill and healing veterans improve their physical and mental health at no cost to them.

Chilly Chili Mile
Join us for the 3rd annual Chilly Chili Mile presented by The Orthopedic Foundation, in which participants can choose to walk or run at top speed or at a comfortable pace. Our new one-loop course will start and finish at the Philip Heit Center for Healthy New Albany.
Walk or run for health and/or competition. This event is conducted by Healthy New Albany, the same team that brings you the New Albany Walking Classic. This 3rd time event promises to be a smashing success. The faster you walk or run, the sooner you get out of the cold and enjoy a bowl of chili and corn bread.

The 2nd annual Chilly Chili Mile presented by The Orthopedic Foundation. Get rid of the winter doldrums and join us to walk for competition and/or health. Post-race vegetarian chili was provided to participants after the race from The Gourmet Farm Girl LLC and cornbread supplied by Kroger!

Casting Workshop at Ohio University Dublin Campus
The Orthopedic Foundation and OrthoNeuro provided a Casting Workshop for Dublin area High School Students and OUHCOM 1st & 2nd Year Medical Students at the Ohio University Integrated Science Building on their Dublin Campus. Dr. Daryl Sybert, Orthopedic Spine Surgeon and Chairman of the Board for the Orthopedic Foundation spoke to students about types of fractures and treatment.
